An analyst, not a prophet
Sharkline reads a match the way an analyst reads any set of data: it gathers everything within reach, discards the noise and shows what is left. Every read carries its own confidence percentage.
What Sharkline is
Sharkline is a web and Telegram app that analyses matches across nine sports every day. For each one it shows the probability of the outcomes, a read, a confidence percentage and the thing most likely to break that read. If a match is not in the feed, you can photograph the fixture and it will be analysed on its own.
The subscription opens the app. This is an analytics product: it estimates the probability of the outcomes from the data and promises no result.
Where the name came from
A shark has an organ called the lateral line: a row of receptors along its flank that senses movement in water the animal cannot see. That is how the predator finds prey in the dark and in murky water — without eyes and without guessing.
That is the whole product in one image. We do not watch the match more closely than you do. We feel the movement in data most people never look at, and we say which way it went.
How we work: four commitments
Data first, model second
An analysis starts from what the data shows, not from a private opinion about a team. The model’s job is to explain what is already in the numbers.
A refusal is an answer too
When a match has too little data, the system says so. That is the cleanest line between an analytical tool and a channel that is paid to look certain.
Every number has a source
The data layer comes from 20+ sources, the context from sports data providers. The model is limited to their figures and does not invent plausible ones.
No guarantees, said upfront
The subscription buys access to an analytical tool. It gives a reasoned estimate of probabilities and promises no result.
Who this is not for
If you are looking for “guaranteed answers”, a “system”, or someone to tell you what will happen — this is not that product. We say it now so we do not waste your time. Sharkline gives a reasoned estimate and an honest confidence percentage. What you do with it is your call.
